dvhtool software package provides Manipulate the volume header on sgi partition layouts, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install dvhtool
dvhtool is installed in your system.
Make ensure the dvhtool package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dvhtool *
You will get with dvhtool package name, version, architecture and description in a table
